Ever wonder what wines go best with your dinner? You’ll be able to find out from renowned French wine maker Pascal Jolivet, who will play host at a special wine-tasting and dinner on Nov. 15, 2011 at Six Senses Yao Noi.
Wines chosen by him for the evening will be Attitude Pinot Noir, Sancerre Rose, Attitude Sauvignon Blanc, Pouilly Fume and Clos du Roy. His wines are frequently listed among the Top 100 Wines of the World.
They come from the wine areas of Sancerre and Pouilly Fume and are ideally suited for pairing with the fresh local Phang Nga seafood sourced for dinner.
Festivities start at 6 o’clock, with chefs preparing food at live stations around the pool, beside paired wines selected by M. Jolivet. Guests will have an opportunity to mingle with him and take in the resort’s unique view of Phang Nga limestone karsts.
Dinner will be served when the moon is up at 8 at a communal table in the Living Room. How much: 1,000 THB for the wine-tasting and 2,500 BHT per person for the dinner. Reservations are necessary. Call 080-60-911-28 to reserve.
