Tasting Chyna at Centra Central Station Bangkok’s Chinatown rooftop venue

Chyna Tasting

CENTRA CENTRAL STATION HOTEL BANGKOK was the venue for a reception held by Centara Hotels & Resorts for more than 200 tour operators and travel agents from all over the world during Thailand Travel Mart 2014.

Chris Bailey, senior vice president of Centara Hotels & Resorts, and the hotel’s general manager Asdang Sukwises, the party was held in Chyna restaurant on the top floor, and at the adjacent outdoor venue Gler, with dramatic views across Bangkok’s Chinatown.

Theme of the event was Old Shanghai, with the delegates enjoying Chyna’s creative Chinese cuisine along with the free-flowing wine, cocktails and beer.

“Centra Central Station Hotel is in a key part of Bangkok, near to the central railway terminus and on the edge of Chinatown,” says Mr Bailey. “It has been open for only a year, and we are very proud of the fast acceptance it has gained from guests and from the travel industry.

“We felt TTM was an excellent opportunity to thank our valued business partners from the industry for their continuing support, and that Centra Central Station, our newest hotel in Bangkok, presented a showcase venue for them.”

Centra Central Station Hotel Bangkok offers facilities that appeal to both the leisure and the business traveller. Located only a short walk from Hua Lamphong mainline railway station and the MRT underground, the hotel provides easy access to Chinatown and is the perfect base for exploring many of Bangkok’s historic sites.
